Dear beloved mom,

It is me!! Your beloved child. A child who you brought up with love, care and kindness. The child who argued with you laughed with you and cried with you throughout their life. The child who sometimes did not listen to you or even thought that was not lovable. And the child who love and appreciate all your love and support.

This year is another year of your death anniversary!!

Mom, I would like to share my achievement and success with you. I hope you can celebrate my success with me in heaven.

Mom, I would like to take this moment to express my gratitude to you because I would be successful without you. I want to say BIG THANK YOUs to you!!!!

Thank you for giving me #life. I could imagine how heavy would it be to carry me for nine months. It must be cumbersome.

Thank you for caring about me. I could imagine how much sleep you may lack throughout the first year of my life and how much cleaning role you did when I was a baby. It must be exhausted! And it must be a disgusting smell!

Thank you for having patience. I could imagine how much you might worry about me when I started to explore my world as a toddler.

Thank you for being energized. I could imagine how exhausted you had to manage between being a full-time job and being a full-time mom. You managed your time very well to cook, work and clean up for your children.

Thank you for being an exceptional friend to listen to my opinions during my teenage age. I could imagine how much empathy you had to open up to my concerns.

Thank you for believing in me. I could imagine how much courage you had to encourage me to pursue my dream.

Thank you for your hardworking. I could imagine how much sweat you would waste to earn each buck for my education and living.

Thank you for guiding me to live my #authentic self. I could imagine how much courage you had to provide me with advice.

Thank you for being an actual model of being #kind, #generous, #patient and #courageous. I could imagine how strong you are to go through the difficulties in life to earn these values.

Thank you for everything that you have done for me as your child. You have given me love, courage, care, education and wisdom.

Even if you are not with me in person, Mom, I trust you are having a wonderful time in heaven.

I will remember every single lesson you teach me throughout my life that I had with you. I will remember every moment that we laughed, in tear and even having arguments that we had as my life lessons.

Importantly! One lesson that I will never forget from you is

I am the only one who takes full responsibility for my life. No one can't mistreat me, except I am the one who allows them to do so.

This teaching helps me to see life differently. I started to see how important is it to take full responsibility for my thoughts and actions. THANK YOU, MOM!!

Last and not least, I would like to let you know that you have done a fantastic job raising children as a single mom. I would like you to acknowledge yourself for how awesome you are. Even more than that, you are genuinely beautiful from the inside out, which is precious for a human being. I am grateful to be your child, your best friend and your idea partner. Even more than that, I would like you to know that the achievement that I have these days comes from all your sweat, your love, your #kindness, your patience and the care that you gave me. Keep up your beautiful soul no matter where you are. I am proud of being your child, and you will always be at the bottom of my heart.
